This Author Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Kepressng Publishing (“Publisher”) and the Author (“Author”).
1. Ownership
The Author confirms that all submitted content is original or legally licensed.
Copyright remains with the Author unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Rights Granted
The Author grants Kepressng Publishing the right to:
- publish
- distribute
- market
- display
- sell
- promote
the Work in digital, print, and audio formats.
3. Formats Covered
This Agreement may apply to:
- ebooks
- paperback books
- hardcover editions
- serialized fiction
- audiobooks
- anthologies
- translated editions
- subscription content
4. Editorial Rights
Kepressng Publishing may:
- correct formatting
- improve metadata
- edit grammar
- prepare promotional excerpts
Major content edits require Author approval.
5. Royalties
Royalty percentages are determined separately and may vary by format or distribution channel.
Payments may be made monthly or quarterly.
6. Author Responsibilities
The Author confirms the Work:
- does not infringe copyright
- is not defamatory
- does not violate applicable laws
- is not plagiarized
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice.
Rights revert to the Author after termination, excluding active third-party licenses already granted.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by applicable laws in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
